As the founder of Gardner PLUS Architects, PLLC and its predecessor, D.B. Gardner, Architect, Dave has led the firm's growth while constantly maintaining his role as a project manager and foremost as an Architect. Through Dave’s influence, the Team approach is an integral part of the culture at Gardner PLUS. His assignments span all building types and all budget ranges. Through all, Dave maintains a core philosophy that the staff’s job is to solve clients’ problems with creativity and efficiency.
Thomas S. Covell, AIA
Senior Project Manager, Vice President
Tom has extensive experience in healthcare and commercial design, specializing in programming, planning and design of complex senior living, hospital and ambulatory facility additions and renovations. Tom understands the multiple layers of clients involved within healthcare and commercial facilities design and successfully brings a client-centered focus to his projects.
Maria Basil, AIA, CSI
Project Manager
Maria has experience with healthcare, housing, tenant improvements and interior architectural design. Before joining Gardner PLUS, Maria was the architect for a multi-use facility including office, retail and educational spaces. Her long-term relationship with clients enables her to understand the importance of design that meets not just the needs of today but also looks toward the future as well.
Todd A. Martin, AIA
Project Manager
Todd’s experience in the field of architecture includes healthcare, municipal, and industrial projects as well as an extensive background in educational projects. He devoted a portion of his career to working as a construction manager, overseeing the construction of large and complex educational facilities and brings this valuable experience to Gardner PLUS projects. His success reflects his experience in working on challenging projects with large, diverse project teams.
